Chapter 1

I will see the Queen. She will know what to do, Penelope said to herself. Off she went to Buckingham Palace.

“My dear,” said Queen Alexandra as she sipped her tea, “you must go to Pigonia at once.”

“I will send Admiral Cornelius Snout of the Royal Navy and Reginald J. Hoggbottom of New York City to help you make Pigonia safe again.”

The Duchess left her mother in charge of Pigglesworth Village and sailed to Pigonia on a royal ship.
