Sir Pigglesworth Action & Adventure Chapter Books for Children ages 5-10

The first thing that popped out at me when my illustrator sent me this picture was the spelling of ‘Shiney Shoe’.

Thinking it should be “Shiny’ and that it was misspelled in American English but not in British English I spent time searching around for an answer.

Turns out both are correct and it’s oftentimes spelled ‘Shiney’ in British English but some will say it’s wrong either way.

I decided to let it pass and no one has ever said a word about it to me. Whew…slid by on that one!

Another funny thing I find in these illustrations is that some characters just smile at Sir Pigglesworth like it’s a common sight to see a pig walking around…

REALLY?!? And others look startled!

What would be your reaction if you saw a pig walking around?

The young 5 year-old pig was so amazed by everything around him that he forgot something very important.

He forgot to wait for his parents!

But who could blame him? There were so many interesting sights all around to catch his eye!

Oh, I’m sure they are just a few steps behind me, he thought.
